Trace Software International is a company that has been developing software solutions for the electrical engineering for over 30 years. It has an unique expertise in the design and calculation of electrical and photovoltaic installations, from design to operation and network dimensioning. Trace Software is based in Saint-Romain-de-Colbosc in France and distributes its solutions in Europe, Africa and Asia via its distributors and subsidiaries located all over the world.
Trace Software offers the professionals of the building and energy sector a wide software range. Concerning the electrical engineering, elec calc™ is a software package that enables the design, calculation and sizing of low voltage and high voltage electrical installations in real-time. elec calc™ complies with current international standards (for example IEC, NF, RGIE, NIBT, REBT, VDE or NEN) and is independent of any manufacturer. The software integrates many functions such as the operating modes, the selectivity analysis, the voltage drop or the calculation of short circuit currents.
Connector
elec calc™
The connector between EPLAN Electric P8 and elec calc™ aims to guarantee the proper exchange of information in the project of an electrical installation. It’s currently in development and will be available soon.
elec calc™ enables to define every necessary elements to size the installation, from the modeling stage to the choice of the electrical equipment.
Thanks to the connector to EPLAN Electric P8, all these data can be exported in order not only to reproduce the single-line or multi-line diagram but also to construct the switch cabinet of the electrical installation.
